how is this book?! i absolutely adore anne lamott's writing, but the only stuff i have yet to read of hers is the fiction work (i think she has at least 2?)... i would love to know what you think :)
I think you would like the book. I liked it but towards the end something about it bothered me. I am not sure exactly what. I'd love to hear your opinion.
hmmm... i am intrigued... the author said that this book was supposed to be a sort-of sequel (as i recall...) to her first novel, even though it came along a few decades after the first. having known nothing of her before i went on a spree of reading all her non-fiction in a row, and not having read her novels, i don't know if i have any of that correct, but i think i shall read at least this book. some of her non-fiction work, or shall i say, the ideas she put forth in those books, "bothered" me, perhaps in the same way that you feel. we will have to discuss.
i read more than 110 books in 2010, girlfriend. so i'll get right on this. :)
I read Imperfect Birds too,...now I'm trying to remember what was near the end of the book that would have bothered you, but I can't figure it out. I thought it was a good book.
